Running Poles UK has been born out of training over 1000 clients through our sister company Mountain Run

We developed our Running with Poles course back in 2012 for the Lakeland 100 and Lakeland 50 races to help facilitate the use of poles over long distance running. We have been running our course and refining it ever since.

Our online shop was a natural progression to find the best trail running poles in the industry to supply those clients.

Our founder, Charlie Sproson, has been using poles as a runner since 2005 and has a history in outdoor retail dating back to the 1990's - so when you come to Running Poles UK, you know you are in safe and very knowledgeable hands.

As a retail online shop we are customer driven, not policy mad.

Yes we do have the odd policy, but we would rather listen to you, work with you and if you have a problem with our service and/or products, do our best to rectify it without hiding behind policies.

We will offer you the best advice we have and if we do not feel we have the right product for you, we'll try to tell you where is best to find it.
