Trail Runner Free 2 Ultra is a comfortable and lightweight headlamp for everyone who loves running. Its features and light beam are optimized for a runner’s needs. Trail Runner Free 2 Ultra comes with a rechargeable 4.0 Ah (14.8 Wh) battery as well as the Hybrid battery case.

All Trail Runner Free lamps have the power cord integrated into the headband. We call it Free Technology – a comfortable headlamp experience without distracting cords or tangled wires. No hassle – Just free the energy.
Hybrid Battery Case Included
The Hybrid battery case can carry either the rechargeable Silva Hybrid battery pack or 3 x AAA batteries (not included). This means that you have can use AAA batteries as a backup if you run out of power. The case has grip friendly surfaces and holds an integrated red rear safety light – adding extra visibility.
Long Distance Battery Included
In addition to the Hybrid battery case that gives you multiple battery options – Trail Runner Free 2 Ultra comes with a rechargeable, long lasting 4.0 Ah (14.8 Wh) battery pack that sits neatly in a multi attachment soft case. The 4.0 Ah (14.8 Wh) battery is perfect for extended burn time on those longer running sessions. The battery has 4-step battery indication and can be charged anywhere, using a USB cable.
Customized light distribution
With the 2:nd generation of Trail Runner Free, the cooling has been optimized with a more powerful cooler that lets the lamp produce up to 550 lumen (depending on battery type) while keeping its comfort and low weight. Our ultra runners have been an important part of the design process and the Trail Runner Free 2 series is made for running in every aspect. All three headlamps in this series feature Silva Intelligent Light. This means that you get a double light beam technology in your headlamp, with light settings that are perfect for running. Our unique combination of a long reach spotlight and a close flood-light, results in less head movement, better control, improved balance, less fatigue and higher speed.
Comfort In Every Detail
Despite the focus on technological breakthroughs, we have not forgotten about the importance of weight optimization. Every part of the headlamp has been compressed and the unit only weighs 61 gram (excl. Batteries). Even when using the 4.0 Ah (14.8 Wh) long distance battery, included with Trail Runner Free 2 Ultra, the entire headlamp still only weighs 160 grams. The headlamp is perfectly balanced, with smooth adjustments and a flat, soft textile extension cord that doesn’t tangle. The headband is soft, yet firm enough, with a silicone string on the inside to stay in place. The battery can be carried comfortably on the headband or be kept warm in your pocket to save battery life by using the included extension cord.
Go Far Or Go Fast
Choose Trail Runner Free 2 Ultra if you want to go for really long sessions with the 4.0 Ah (14.8 Wh) long-distance battery. With Free 2 Ultra you also get the Hybrid battery case which can be used with either 3 x AAA batteries or by complementing it with a Hybrid battery (1.25 Ah/4.75 Wh).

UK Mainland Standard Delivery
- We aim to dispatch all orders the same day of ordering [based on your order being placed before 11:00].
- You will receive an email with tracking information once your order is processed.
- Deliveries will usually be made within 2-3 working days after you place your order.
- UK Standard Delivery is FREE for all orders over £100 and your order will be sent out via courier, generally Evri or Royal Mail - please call to discuss if you have a preferred courier service.
- Your order can be delivered anytime between 8am - 6pm and a signature 'may be' required on receipt.
- If you're not around to take delivery of your parcel, the carrier will leave a card telling you how you can pick it up.
UK Mainland Next Day Delivery
- If you want your items quicker, we offer Next Day By Noon Shipping with a courier service for £20.00.
- These options are available on the checkout page and the cut-off time for this service is 11.00 noon.
- The following are details of our UK Next Day Delivery service.
- If you order by the cut-off time, Monday to Thursday, you will receive your goods the next day.
- If you order by the cut-off time on Friday you will receive your goods on the following Monday
- If you order anytime Saturday or Sunday, you will receive your goods on Tuesday.
- Any orders placed on a Bank Holiday will be delivered 2 working days later.
- The carrier will deliver between 8am - 6pm. A signature will be required on delivery. If you are not about to accept your parcel a card will be left.
- Next day delivery is not available to the following destinations: Northern Ireland and Highlands and Islands of Scotland.
UK Mainland Saturday Delivery
- There is also the option for Saturday Delivery via Royal Mail at a charge of £30.00.
- This service is for UK orders only and guarantees delivery on the next Saturday morning.
- Orders for this service must be placed before 11:00 on Friday before. This service also requires a signature on delivery.
Highlands and Islands of Scotland Express Delivery
- Due to the more remote locations, Royal Mail operates on a two day delivery time for the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.
- This option is available on the checkout page based on your postcode and the order cut-off time for these services is 14.30pm Monday to Friday.
- The carrier will deliver between 8am - 6pm. A signature will be required on delivery. If you are not about to accept your parcel a card will be left.
European and World Delivery
- At present, we only ship deliveries inside the UK.
- If you are from outside of the UK, please send an email to charlie@outdoorwarehouse.co.uk to check if it is possible and what the costs will be to ship to your destination
Please call if you have any specific delivery requirements and we will try our best to make it happen but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee delivery times.
Online Returns Information:
- In the event that your purchase is not suitable, for whatever reason, you have the right to return it to us.
- Goods should be returned in new condition, unused and with their original undamaged packaging.
- We aim to process all returns within 96 hours. This may take slightly longer at busy times of the year. We will e-mail you once your return has been processed.
- Any items returned will be refunded unless faulty or shipped in error.
- If you wish to exchange an item for any reason, please place a new order for the items that you want.
- Please note that it is your responsibility to pay for the return postage costs, no postage costs are refundable.
- Goods may be returned for a refund within 30 days of receipt.
- You do not need to contact us to notify us of your return unless the item is faulty or is outside of our 30-day policy.
- Goods must be packaged securely to ensure they are not damaged in transit. The responsibility and liability of the goods remain with you until we are in receipt of the goods.
- In the unlikely event that your purchase develops a fault, for whatever reason, then please contact us first either by telephone or email for further instructions. In the majority of cases, any faulty goods will have to be returned to us and then forwarded on to their respective suppliers for inspection. Please be aware that this process may take several weeks in some cases. Any postage costs paid will be refunded by RUNNING POLES UK if a product is deemed as faulty and still under a manufacturer's warranty.

- Include a typed or written document with why you are returning the product and enclose it with your return.
- Ensure you include all tags with your return.
- Please include a copy of your receipt/order number so we can process your return/exchange quicker.
